Can I combine HEIC or JPG photos into one PDF?
Yes. Choose PDF, then Combine into one PDF. Each photo becomes one page, in the order shown. Choose Fit each photo for a page matching its aspect ratio, or A4 or US Letter for printing. One PDF per photo saves separate documents into your chosen folder. PDF image encoding is lossless for the rendered 8-bit pixels; files can be large. Desktop Chrome and Edge can write a combined PDF directly to your folder without keeping the whole output in memory. Other browsers pause when the document approaches 256 MB. Stopping creates a partial PDF from completed pages; converting again rebuilds it from the selected photos. This creates image pages, not searchable text or editable vectors.
What happens to image quality?
Original dimensions are kept unless you choose a smaller size. JPG uses lossy compression, including at 100%. Existing JPGs at 100% and original size are copied unchanged. PNG, TIFF and PDF preserve the rendered pixels without further lossy compression. RAW to TIFF uses a full-resolution 16-bit render; RAW to PNG/JPG/PDF and other decoded formats use 8-bit output. Rendering changes RAW data and may not reproduce Apple Photos’ ProRAW brightness or HDR processing. Keep the original DNG for its full editing latitude. Color profiles, EXIF metadata and HDR information may not carry over to converted files. These exports are not archival replacements for originals.
How do 1,000-photo batches and folder downloads work?
On desktop Chrome or Edge, choose a download folder, approve the browser’s folder access prompt, then convert. A new subfolder is created, and each photo is written as it finishes. Files are processed one at a time to control memory use. Keep this tab open and your device awake. Browsers without folder access offer individual downloads; conversion pauses when unsaved results reach 256 MB so you can download and remove completed photos before continuing. Maximum input size: 200 MB per photo. RAWs above 120 megapixels and images above 100 megapixels are rejected.
Which photo formats can I convert?
The featured tools cover HEIC and HEIF, PNG, GIF, TIFF, JPEG and supported camera RAW files. iPhone ProRAW uses DNG; use the RAW tool for those photos. Camera and compression support varies. Animated GIFs and multi-image HEIC or TIFF files use their first image. Choose PDF as an output to make image documents. PDF input, SVG input, crop tools and metadata controls are not currently available.
